 |
| Material Safety Data Sheets, also known as MSDSs, provide helpful information for chemical products you use at work and home. Although the format may vary from one MSDS to the next, they will contain at least the following information: the chemical or chemical compound name of the hazardous component(s), physical and health hazards of the chemical, primary route(s) of entry, the OSHA permissible exposure limit (PEL) and American Conference of Government Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) threshold limit value (TLV) for each chemical, whether or not the chemical is a potential carcinogen, general control measures, emergency first aid procedures and the name, address and telephone number of a responsible party who can provide additional information on the chemical. The MSDS needs to be available for every chemical in your workplace. The MSDS is a resource that can provide valuable information to you on how to work safely with the chemicals in your workplace. If you are having trouble finding the MSDS you need. Please fill out the MSDS Request Form as completely as possible and we will assist you. |
